vcr is long dead, and no age-appropriate movies on dvd for them

in news not of my sudden and imminent death: fuckface was brought to the hospital to say goodbye. am unwilling to be bitter, because that takes too much energy. at least the kids were forbidden to see him.


edit: okay an update, because it is rather needed?

kids were okay til 'bout five thirty, then they went home with their aunt. to say that aunt wasn't doing well then was an understatement. her heart was still going strong when I left even, buuuut she was taking about a breath and a half a minute at best. she went twelve minutes without breathing at one point.

so yeah, that is where we are now :\ ME I AM OKAY, I am not just being strong here.

and just so this is not the most depressing thing ever, here is a fun anecdote for those of you who know Kiva at all. MY SAVE-MODE IXA FINALLY CAME, and my cousin found it. she picked it up, look at it, turns and says "Emmy this guy is my very favorite."

"Well babe," I said, "you don't even know who that is."
